What Does The Foundation Do?
The Foundation can be thought of as a "charitable savings account" which holds gifts made by donors with philanthropic interests and invests and distributes the investment income to vital non-profit organizations in the Robertson County Community.
The Foundation accepts gifts from donors in the form of cash, stocks and real estate. These gifts are in turn invested and managed in perpetuity, The Foundation typically preserves the initial capital invested and then disburses the income which the capital generates in grants either to specific charities and causes designated by the donor or to non-profit agencies that serve the community in the areas of education, health, human services, the arts, culture and community service.
